About me

I'm finishing my Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing at UCT, and my team is building an IMC campaign for the Spur brand challenge.

Since 2023 I've worked the front desk at Bay Padel, where I'm the longest-serving staff member and have sold more racquets than anyone since the club opened.

My Organisational Psychology degree taught me how people decide; the desk taught me to use that with a real customer. Outside work, I finished my first Hyrox this year.

Three things I've actually done

Bay Padel Legends

Situation
The club's biggest tournament: 48 players, 24 teams, two days.
What I did
Ran registration and payments, organised fixtures, recorded scores and handed out event T-shirts.
Result
All 24 teams registered, paid and played through the fixtures I organised.

Top racquet seller

Situation
Beginners often don't know which racquet suits them.
What I did
I ask how long they've played, whether they've played tennis or squash, and their budget, then match a racquet.
Result
Most racquets sold by any staff member since the club opened, confirmed by my manager.

03

First Hyrox

Situation
After playing rugby for UCT's Mod Lions until 2024, I entered Hyrox Cape Town, Men's Open.
What I did
Trained three to four times a week, mixing gym and cardio.
Result
Finished in 1 hour 50 minutes in August 2026.
